Prosecutors in Jennifer Hudson case turn to video

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson today sat, head on her knees, as prosecutors played a video of the man accused of killing her brother, mother and 7-year-old nephew.

The three minutes of surveillance video of defendant William Balfour showed him at a gas station near where the killings occurred in October 2008. The evidence could be important because Balfour previously said he wasn't in the vicinity, the Tribune reports.

Balfour was formerly married to Julia Hudson, Jennifer's sister.
